Blinky the Bot

This is my first finished project in Maya. Concept and design by myself. It was modeled in Maya, Textured in Substance painter. Rendered in Arnold.

Blinky the Bot:

Blinky is a remnant of a forgotten world. Before the cataclysm he functioned as a factory farming maintenance aid. His main purpose was to hunt and capture glowing fae creatures near the factory to be used as a power source to light the lanterns and furnaces of the Creators. As the world changed and the Creators died out, the fae began to understand how to use the forgotten tech, however, many of the old tools still survived. Fulfilling their automated functions as long as they could stay powered.

This is my first developed concept in Maya and would love feedback on the design, execution and presentation.
